An Information Seminar about the Prince Philip Scholarship to the University of Cambridge will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on 9th Sept 2010 on 22nd Floor, The Bank of East Asia Building, 10 Des Voeux Road Central. Places are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Dr Jan Stockdale, the Dean of Undergraduate Studies of London School of Economics (LSE) visited our school today. We thank Dr Stockdale for her presentation of LSE's undergraduate programmes, studying environment, facilities and career prospect of graduates. Students appreciated very much of her useful advice on UCAS application.

A group of 26 students from Forms 1 - 3 participated in a 3-week UK Summer Camp organized by the Excel Academy. With the assistance and guidance of the accompanying teachers, Mr. Gary Chan and Mr. Peter Leung, they had the experience of complete immersion in the English culture, the use of English and the British way of life through attending different workshops, excursions and staying in local host families.

School will begin at 8:00 am on 1st September 2010. Students will line up at the assembly places before 8. There are no classes on that day. School will close at 9:30 am.

Dr Jan Stockdale, Dean of Undergraduate Studies of London School of Economics, will visit La Salle on 1 September. Students who are interested to know more about the university please go the Conference Room at 9:30 am.

The Swire Scholarship at University College, Oxford University (2011) is open for application. The Scholarship is a 3-year, or exceptionally 4-year scholarship, depending on the subject the student takes. It will cover the full cost of the tuition fees, living expenses and air passages. Interested students please approach Miss Cecilia Tang, Vice Principal for more information.
